Description
This is my first PinUp since I left art school.
I can't believe it's bee almost a year, since I painted a Pinup!
I'm not the kind of Kat to hop onto trends, even within "My" Subculture. But this recent trend of dames with their faces painted like sugar skulls is one I can't resist.
I don't know if it's because it appeals to my Deep South/voodoo-type Heritage, or me Macabre, Grave Robber side, But I think this trend is really beautiful and even elegant.
**I have already recieved a note concerning miscoloring, I didn't miscolor her attire, She is wearing a two-toned bra, and black corset, with red Panties; So it all works out colorwize, don't worry**
Okay, so credit due on this one:
The model is from the photosets at CharacterDesigns.com, (I don't have a clue what her name is.)
The tree and scenery is all credit to BreedStock [link]
Now, Inspiration credit goes to:
StuckWithPins- [link]
MissJess- [link]
GhoulDaddy- [link]
And of Corse, Sylvia Ji- [link]
And a special thanks to whomever came up with the tradition of Sugar Skulls, and painting your face durring Dia De Los Muertos.
